July is a super-exciting month at Susan HQ - it is the month where I officially launch the new book Sketchbook Challenge: 100 Prompts for Daily Drawing.
And the most exciting part of this launch (so far) is that I will be officially launching and celebrating the book on HobbyMaker TV - a UK shopping channel this Sunday 3rd July at 1pm and 3pm.
Let me tell you a little more...
One of my goals for 2022 was to see if I could get on TV in some way shape or form and to see this come together this July as I launch the book is truly a very exciting prospect for me (and also wholly terrifying!)
This goal was set, not as a vanity project, but simply as a way to share the message of 'get sketching' to a new and hopefully wider audience. I am really on mission over the next few years to get everyone sketching and filling sketchbook after sketchbook.

They have kindly allowed me two separate hours (yes, TWO HOURS!!) to talk about how the book came about and demo some of the tutorials and exercises contained within. I will begin the session talking about what a Sketchbook Challenge is, how the book came about and a little bit more about myself. I will. then open up the book to show you how it is structured and how to use the book. The rest of the time I will spend sketching - I will do some of the warm-up exercises and play with some of the prompts contained within the book. It will be a super-fun few hours and I can't wait to get sketching with everyone
In case you don’t know, I am on a mission to get everyone sketching at the moment. I’ve been running my annual sketchbook challenge for 5 years now, my monthly sketching membership Inspire for over 2… and now THE BOOK!

I am very lucky that my publisher Search Press and the wonderful team there are getting behind the book and this mission and supporting me to take HUGE leaps forwards out of my comfort zone to spread the message of the Sketchbook Challenge.
