In this video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the Inspire Annual Sketch Swap - one of my favourite traditions inside the Inspire Sketching Membership.
Each year, members send me four pieces of their artwork created throughout the year. These can be sketches, doodles, collage pieces, pages from sketchbooks, mini paintings, or even handmade items. They don’t need to be finished works of art - the idea is to celebrate creativity, experimentation, and the joy of sketching.
Once everything arrives, I open all the envelopes, mix the artwork together, and carefully create new bundles of artwork so each participating member receives four pieces from other artists in the community.
It’s always such a joy to see the variety of styles, ideas and experiments that members create throughout the year. The Sketch Swap is a free, optional activity for Inspire members and has become a lovely yearly tradition that celebrates creativity and community.
