Welcome to episode three of Sketchbook Stories.
In this series I will open up the pages of my personal sketchbooks and tell you the stories behind the sketches. I will also show you how the sketches are created and provide some handy tips for your own sketchbooks along the way!
Today we are looking at a few pages of mushroom sketches completed a while ago in fine-liner pen and Inktense pencils. This video includes a demonstration of how I sketched these mushrooms.
To create your own mushroom drawings you will need:
1. A pencil (ideally a hard pencil like a 2H)
2. A small sketchbook
3. A fine-liner pen
4. A rubber
5. Some coloured pencils (I used the Derwent Inktense pencils in the demo)
