Forest Musings IV - Collage Painting on Paper

This collage is an original artwork created in 2023. 

Forest Musings is a series of original collage pieces created in response to drawings, paintings and colour studies of the forest. These shapes an colours combine to create original collage pieces that each form part of the five-part series of reflective studies. 

Each collage is hand-painted, cut and collaged together by the artist using a technique similar to that of Matisse with his 'painting with scissors.'

This is an original artwork, signed by the artist.

The collage painting comes unframed and mounted (see picture) with a card backing and cellophane wrapping.
